FFF&GC Foundation

The Fergus Falls Fish & Game Club Foundation (FFF&GC Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established as an extension of the Fergus Falls Fish & Game Club. While separate from the Club, the Foundation shares a common mission: to promote education for students and educators pursuing careers or advancement in outdoor-related fields, such as natural resources and environmental science.

Post-Secondary Scholarship for Students

The Foundation is proud to offer $1,500 scholarships to eligible students pursuing higher education in Natural Resources or Environmental Science-related fields.

Eligibility:

  • High school seniors graduating from:

    • Fergus Falls Kennedy High School

    • Hillcrest Lutheran Academy

  • OR current students at:

    • M State – Fergus Falls

  • Must be attending college or university full-time in a qualifying major.

Scholarship Details:

  • Award: $1,500

  • Deadline to Apply: April 1st (for the following fall semester)

  • GPA Requirement: 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

  • Disbursement: After submission of fall college transcript and proof of spring registration

  • The number of scholarships awarded annually is determined by the FFF&GC Board of Directors.

Scholarships for Educators

The Foundation also supports continuing education for teachers through scholarships for qualified coursework.

Eligibility:

  • Full-time Elementary or Secondary teachers at:

    • Fergus Falls Public Schools

    • Hillcrest Lutheran Academy

  • Coursework must be at least 3 credits

Review Timeline:
Applications are reviewed quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Applications must be received by the end of the prior month for consideration.
